So much time has passed!

It has been so long since I've posted! while in Slovakia, we were so darn busy I just hadn't had any time! and since I've been in Italy not very good internet access... so I'll get you caught up...

Mission trip:
the English classes ended on the 25th... it was an unbelievable experience! lots of tears... so many marvelous relationships were created both with the team and with the students... It's an experience that will stay with me forever!

here are a couple of pics at closing ceremony... the group was singing "this land is your land" some verses from the US version, and then a couple of verses we (students & teachers) changed for Slovakia... One verse we sang in Slovak (which was quite a challenge for me!)




That night we had a celebration party... a bbq lot's of great music and fun for all...
I tried to post a video but it wasn't happening... I'll try again later...

the next morning we were packed up an on our way to Vienna Austria... there we all roamed around looking at the marvelous architecture and eating the great food... after that Mary and I headed to Bratislava, Slovakia (by bus - about 45 min from Vienna). the next morning we caught our plane to Milan Italy... Here are a couple of pics from the plane of the Austrian Alps... it was absolutely gorgeous!!! I'm glad the camera could pic up a couple of images...


We're in Italy now... I'll write more later of our adventures here...
I'm having a tough time loading pictures from here... and the Adriatic Sea is calling to me... I'll post more tonight... Italy is gorgeous! and we're having a blast! --Kim
