Well I made it safe and sound... the travel was gruelling... it was to the airport at 10am for check in... flight left Portland at 1pm.... 10 hours later we arrived in Germany... we saw three so-so movies, a wild game of yatze and many mini naps... then it was 4 plus hours waiting in the airport before flying to Vienna... we headed for the bus with the humidity worse than New York or Florida!!! after a 4 hour bus ride we arrived at our destination, Martin, Slovakia... The scenery along the way really wasn't much different than the pacific northwest with the exception of an occassional castle... :-)
We went to a wonderful Slovak Church service. We were able to have headsets and hear an interpretor... what a great experience!
tomorrow we start classes... no pics until I can get internet access (we're having a problem with the password) hopefully I'll be able to write more later. --Kim

Kim, You made it! I have been praying for you and Mary and Janet everyday several times a day. (Also the team as a whole). I miss all of you and I will continue my prayers.
